Wall condition
Ask what is causing the cracking or movement and whether reinforcement is suitable.

Carbon fiber reinforcement is one option used for some cracked or bowing foundation walls. Whether it is appropriate depends on the condition of the wall and the cause and extent of movement.
Describe what you have noticed when you contact Meridian. Include any changes over time, water entry or previous repairs if you know them. The repair method and scope need to be assessed for your property; a photograph or the appearance of a crack alone is not a diagnosis.

A crack alone does not tell you which repair to choose. The wall’s condition, movement and any water problems need to be considered together. Ask whether carbon fiber reinforcement is appropriate for your wall and what other work may be needed.

Ask what is causing the cracking or movement and whether reinforcement is suitable.

Ask which parts of the wall need attention and whether water or drainage concerns need separate work.

Discuss access, preparation, disruption and any written warranty terms before agreeing to work.
